The cheapest way is to transfer your CDs into mp3 format by downloading them from the CD tray on your computer onto your computer and then onto a USB stick.
Make sure the USB stick is formatted in FAT32 format. The best way to transfer them is to use iTunes program and follow the instructions in the top left hand corner. Hope this helps but ask if you need more info.

I'm not the best on computers but I have a free Wondershare Tidy programme and this allows images along the songs when you play on medianav, easy to use but you still need Mp3's to import the way Terry above describes.

If you want to copy files from your CD,s ( Yes people still Use Them )
Just use Windows media player on your PC simply 'rip' your music files to windows media player and simply drag music files into your music folder then transfer music files to your USB stick If you find that you are having difficulty playing music from USB you should Always backup your files first to your PC first before formatting the USB stick once formatted simply drag music files into that USB folder. cheers ![]() |

Websites...well - plenty, if U are willing to pay for it - just make shure that the service, U are signing up for, allows U to save music files loally on your hard drive - many on-line services today are based on streaming and do not allow u to save music locally, thus u cannot transfer them to USB.
"Simply rip them" - both for Mac (iTunes) and Windows (Media Player) and whatever program u should find to rip (save music in chosen format): make sure files are saved as MP3 ! Don't really remember iTunes default settings, but I wakely remember Apple has other ideas for default - Media Player defaults to WMA, AFAIR, so start by looking at settings to make sure u are actually getting MP3 files from start. Also wise to note what bitrate u save music in - 128 kbps is considered DVD quality - go up if u want better result - not down ;o) Oh - don't forget to note where the program saves ur MP3 files - can save u a lot of time trying to find them again - seems every program has its own ideas of where it's sensibel to put ur files....

Well, Jordan, the various replies and methods illustrate that you really need to have a little knowledge of computers to get music from either the internet or from your CD collection.
Youtube may help but if you're feeling even more daunted than before maybe you have a friend who can do it for you, or pop in to your local computer shop armed with a CD and ask them to show you how it's done. To try and describe the process by this medium is quite long and wordy. Let us know how you get on.

Whilst the Captur may play WMA files, I'd recommend setting the CD Rip settings in Windows Media Player to MP3... if you then want to copy the tracks to another device, you won't come across any issues if (e.g. Android phone) it doesn't recognise WMA files...
