Got this warning red flag this morning. Went away after the car had run a while.

From the little battery token I assume it's a 12v battery issue?

Is it right they are supposed to be replaced every 3 years? If so, is that a DIY job, Halfords level job or dealer job? EDIT 5 years. The car is 3 years old. I've just read about the key constantly communicating with the car and I might have left it nearby yesterday.

PS
How do I check the battery charge level?

I have a 73reg Captur PHEV and get exactly the same warning message. It's happened at the first start of the day. As the warning says STOP I don't drive the car and the message eventually clears after 30 - 60 mins. My Renault garage can't find a code for the message so say nothing can be done. Complained to Renault, their response -try another garage!

Has anyone with this message found a solution?

It does look like it might be a 12v battery issue, doesn't it? To be fair to Renault, their idea of finding a different garage might not be a bad one. Or maybe test the battery with a multimeter, as per the video above?

There is another small thread on the same issue...

...and this thread from an EV forum (referring to a Z0e) suggests a 12v battery issue too -
