Hi All,
First time using this forum. I have a Renault Captur Dynamique 2015 over the Previous weekend I drove my car down the dual carriageway. After we came off we smelt a burning smell and saw smoke coming out from my driver side hood. We pulled over had a look and called recovery. He said I had a split pipe from the turbo, said it was safe to drive but take to the garage immediately and to not use the air in my car. The garage has had it all week and couldn’t find anything so they tightened up the bolts and such and sent it back instructing me to drive it over the weekend. If it didn’t work to bring it back Monday. I can still smell burning and the smoke does come out of the driver side still but only at high speeds. Has anyone had anything similar? Please help!

I would be cautious when driving the car if there’s any problems close to the turbo
things get very very hot in that area.

Try to keep the revs down until it's fixed

So as soon as you can get the problems sorted the sooner the better, have it checked out at another garage
for a second opinion.

The area is tight so not all garages will want to work on that area.
