This is not a fault, but I noticed this yesterday. I don't bother with the Eco button, but must have pressed it in when cleaning the inside of the car. I was on my way to work and put the auto air con on, it was ok but seemed to be not as good as normal. Then I noticed my Eco was on and turned that off, the airconditioning instantly came back on as normal. Has anyone else noticed this. Obviously the Eco turns off certain systems to help with the fuel efficiency.

Yes, it does exactly that. I find also that if the engine has stopped through the stop/start process and you suddenly turn up the air con, the engine will restart.
As you say, it's not a fault. I find it amazing how the whole system works - to save fuel and cope with the battery charge levels. Technology nowadays !!!
