Information Most warning notices can be attributed to an older battery

If you are receiving more than one warning notice from your Captur and your battery is older than 3 years then it’s could need a replacement battery.

This has become more apparent during the recent virus lock down.

The Captur unlike other cars have this one annoying problem, you may think the battery is ok
and it tests fine ,it does not matter the Captur will cause problems.

You may well be lucky and get more than 6 years use out of the battery until more than one fault arises.

Many members including myself have had this problem.

I understand it’s annoying!

By the way I have passed my five year old battery on to someone else who is happily using it in their car.

Good advice, but it goes beyond just the Captur. Seems to be at least a Renault wide issue over the past ten years.
OH right!
Anyone reading this should be aware that it's not a standard battery that's been fitted
and it's could be a EFB BATTERY, looking on the top of the battery should indicate
what's been fitted
