Now,Auto Expresssuggests a smaller Mercedes-Benz crossover called X-Class is in the pipeline and most likely it will be based on theRenault Captur. The same source indicates Mercedes-Benz will launch a sportier-looking variant of the ML in 2015 with theMLC designationwhich from our knowledge will compete with the BMW X6. About a year later the X-Class should hit showrooms as a more premium German alternative to the Captur.

You bet your bottom dollar it will be more expensive!! Looks nice...but then again it IS BASED on the Captur which we all LOVE!
Clearly, this car segment has a lot of players interested in getting money from 'us' consumers!
There will be many more options out there by 2015/2016 ..Audi has many interesting options coming up as well... and I bet you that relatively new players like Kia and Hyundai will have something to offer at good prices!!
Interesting snippit...thanks Julian!!
