hello new to site and in need of advice . I have just purchased a used 1.3 tce s edition edc it is 4 months old very low mileage. It is a ex motability car. The overall condition is as you would expect it should be and it drives well. .....When i completed the paperwork i was given one key and was told that motorbility had the other key so it was up to them to hand it over not the main dealers responsibility...when i finally got the car home i was gob smacked to find that no locking wheel nuts were fitted and the under boot area was empty no spare wheel no inflator kit no no tow hook and no polystyrene tray to put this stuff in. I payed top dollar for this motor and feel i had my leg lifted.I have searched online but cant find the poly fitment anywhere and a new key price is prohibitive. .......does anyone have any constructive advice . Please dont extract the wee I feel bad enough already

I would be of the opinion that the dealer has sold you a vehicle that is not fit for purpose and I would speak to them accordingly

Welcome to the forum , firstly contact motorbility you may need proof of purchase , then have a online search for vehicle dismantlers they should have some of the missing parts from damaged cars.

I would also remonstrate with the dealer asking the manager for them to pay towards the missing parts

Who did you buy thye car from, Motability, a main dealer, specialist dealer ???
Contact them and complain in writing/email ASAP, asking for them to propose how they will resolver the issue of vital missing items and pointing out that you paid top price so expect them to fulfil their obligations.

The car should be supplied with either a spare wheel/jack etc or a repair kit/inflator and two keys. The garage should have got the other key for you. Write to the dealer principal outlining the issues and escalate to Renault UK of you have no luck (assuming you brought it from a Renault dealer).

The fact that the car is ex-Mobility is irrelevant. You bought the car from Stratstone and it is their job/duty to supply the bits that you rightly feel you are missing, especially the second remote. Don't let them bull**** you.
