I have a picture that I want to upload, but the size of it is 5.22 mb. It was taken on a Panasonic camera and stored on my computer. Apparently, this exceeds the limit of 400kb .
I have uploaded photos from my phone before without any problem.
Don't understand all this kb / mb etc.
Any ideas?

You will need to re-size the file or else use an uploader that does it automatically. Full size pics from cameras are several megabytes in size and at full scale will take up a huge amount of room on a screen. Resizing is much more sensible for internet viewing.

Do you have any software for viewing image files, for example Microsoft picture manager if you have MS Office suite installed? There are also many free programs such as Picassa, the GIMP

There's a 4Mb limit on the upload tool, although It will resize the photo to fit the forum layout iirc


MS Paint is an easy one, there's a resize button in the top left corner
