A bit of an enigma:
What map version do you have in R-link?
How the maps update works in R-link?
Attempt to solve it:
Any support concerning Renault R-Link devices is provided by Renault. This also includes the navigation features. The navigation part uses TomTom software, but this device is supported solely by Renault.
<div style="color: rgb80, 0, 80; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: normal; orphans: auto; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-trans: none; white-space: normal; widows: auto; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; : rgb255, 255, 255;">in R-link manual (page 27)
<div style="color: rgb80, 0, 80; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: normal; orphans: auto; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-trans: none; white-space: normal; widows: auto; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; : rgb255, 255, 255;">

Please check your dealer for more information.
In
fact we have no 90 daysmap update guarantee that comes normally with
any new TomTom product or in R-link it works in different way.
My current map version is v9.06. I am not sure if it was any update since I got a car. At least I am not aware of any. There is no any new update available (free or chargable).
Some
R-link users noticed that any new map that is released on the TomTom
website is approximately 2 months later available for renault clients.
This observation is interesting. What we can find in TomTom page.
<table ="table" style="border-collapse: collapse; border-spacing: 0.3em; color: rgb84, 84, 84; font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 16px; orphans: auto; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px; text-trans: none; white-space: normal; widows: auto; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; : rgb255, 255, 255;" border="1" width="55%"><t><tr><th style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; font-style: normal; font-weight: bold; text-align: center;" width="40%">Version on device</th><th style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; font-style: normal; font-weight: bold; text-align: center;" width="40%">Month of release</th></tr><tr><th colspan="2" style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; font-style: normal; font-weight: bold; text-align: center;" ="#BDD731">2013</th></tr><tr><td style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px;"><div style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" align="center">915

</td></tr><tr><td style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px;"><div style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" align="center">910
</td><td style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px;"><div style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" align="center">May

</td><td style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px;"><div style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" align="center">March
</td></tr></t></table>
So it means I have a version not listed in TomTom.
Does renault delivers its own versions for R-link?
I would appreciate any explanation
