hi, i am i need of some advise or help, my 2015 captur drivers window has stopped working. its not a relay or fuse, i have purchased a new switch, not that either. It does however work on some days, and not others. I am reluctant to use it as i never know when it will fail and cant be operated, advise please, really done want to waste more money, switch was nearly £70. THANKS IN ADVANCE

I had a window regulator go faulty

Has anyone done any electrical checks? Is there power at the regulator/temic unit? No point in buying new parts if the problem is a damaged wire. Check first (remove, clean, replace) the multipoint plug/socket below the door hinge. If power is getting as far as the temic, this can be cleaned and relubricated to see if that helps. All this before another expensive replacement.

sadly nothing all weekend, works perfectly, just intermittent, so will again try to see if there is power, when it next fails , thanks for the advise

In that case my money is on a bad connection. Usually the big plug and socket be the door hinges.
