Hi I have just passed my test and the captur is my top choice for my first car. My dad has had his for a good few years with no issues and it's a brilliant car, love the size of it.
I would be looking at getting a 63 plate up to a 66 depending on my price. I will be doing 18 mile round trip to work 3x a week and then short runs other than that. I've been looking at 1.5 diesels but does it sound like I'd get a DPF problem with the miles I'd be doing? Also would you consider 80,000 high mileage for a diesel captur? I have seen a 63 plate 1.5 dci with 82,500 but my husband thinks I can find better. Would I be better going for a petrol?

Hi i am on my second Captur,had a 65 plate now on a 69 plate GTlline both 0.9tce engines both feel nippy mpg average 35ish local journeys around 55 on a decent run so no too bad eco mode on petrol rubbish feels under powered never use S/S all ways switch it off. Happy hunting with your new purchase..
