As you’ve said, it should be covered under warranty so I’d be on the phone to them as soon as you’ve read this.

At least you’ve got it booked in, albeit a lengthy wait. When you come to a complete stop and turn the engine off, does the brake engage or do you have to leave it in gear?

 

Hi no the brake doesn't engage it's an automatic so leave it in park

 

Just an update on the automatic handbrake
As from yesterday all the warning lights are off spanner light etc
and everything working normal again .
Booked in Arnold Clark on the 20th should I still take it in even if
everything working normal. !

 

If it’s covered under warranty, I’d be inclined to take it in, although it could easily end up with them not being able to replicate the problem, so a wasted journey - depends on how much free time you have?
