I waited almost 6 months for mine, and that was in 2014.....
There are stil major issues with the supply of some components, and although I am not sure if Renault is this bad, for some makes delivery times are a year or more

 

Ordered my Rive Gauche hybrid in May 2022, originally quoted a late September delivery. I was then told delivery was delayed until December, then a further delay to the beginning of January 2023. The latest delivery date I've been given is mid February 2023.

 

Ordered my rive gauche also in August, was told delivery would be March. Still not had a build date, so probably could be June 😤

 

I ordered mine in July 22 and like most others was quoted 5-6 month’s delivery. This slipped but I eventually collected it on 1st March with a 23 plate. So far so good, the only disappointment was that I had expected it to have a wireless phone charger, but it doesn’t, also apparently the automatic folding doo mirrors are also no longer supplied.

I ordered mine at the start of June 2022 and have just been told it has been again delayed until mid July.

 

Apparently there are major issues at Renault's (I was told). Troubles loom around procuring parts, mostly batteries and electronics. Renault was just forced to halt production in France for the new Megane, which is a cut at the wrist for the firm. They are struggling to keep up with the Captur deliveries too. The type has been scrapped in South America, I've read. Also at the same time their investment in Russia went down the drain (at least for the time being...). While other manufacturers are gaining momentum, Renault fell behind. At this point Renault appears to have started to prioritize production to cut losses...

My car's delivery has also been delayed by half year from the original delivery date by now. No clue when (and if!) it will be manufactured, not to mention delivered... I guess I'll wait a month or two before I move on. It would be a shame, since I've been driving Renault's for the past 18 years...

 

Hi all, had update from dealer yesterday car was built on Wednesday and left factory on Thursday, in transit to uk.

 

We have a rive gauche on order. Was told it would be in on April 29th…..
still waiting to hear anything from the dealer 🙄

 

No because u can get a car fast track now u order and Renault max time is 30 days I got mine in 10 days 😉

 

So go back to the dealership tell them Renault fast track orders now max 30 days wait 4 delivery

 

So, I ordered my Captur E-Tech 145 hybrid engineered auto, in oyster gray with pearl black roof, Nov 3rd 2023, and took delivery Nov 30th 2023.
When I ordered it, my dealer said it should take 2weeks as there were 7 in the country, and 140 bieng shipped in as we spoke.
They kept hold of it for a week to register and prep it. 👌
