Does the EDC tranny oil require changing or is it a sealed for life unit? If if does require changing what are the intervals? I can't find any info anywhere - any help would be much appreciated.

According to a Swedish forum I was looking at the efficient dual clutch system is two dry clutches with sealed oily bits for the cogs. However I've been in touch with the technical service department at Bury Motors(Greater Manchester) and if they can be bothered to return my call I will post it on here
Hi,asked the question last year at my Renault garage, and was told NO MAINTENANCE is required sealed for life !!!!!!
how long is life 30k 50k 100k, 3yrs 5yrs or 10 yrs.
Would think an oil change around 5yrs might be in order.
Honda CVT BOXES require oil changes every 2/3 yrs.
A CVT box is a different transmission entirely. The EDC is dry clutch and the CVT is driven by a band between two cones
