Hi James,
Are you sure the Bosch wiper blades were fitted as standard to you car?
Was not aware that Renault fitted Bosch as standard OEM.


It was always the crap Va*** that is why most people change them to Bosch as to avoid wiper judder.

Hi. I've been trying to replace my wipers on my new capture however when I went to Halfords and bought a set they didn't fit. I paid for the guy to fit them for me however he said the connectors were different. It was the Bosch Aerotwin wipers and the guy searched on their system and said that according to the info they were the right ones. Do any of you still have the model number of the ones you bought. I'm desperate to replace before winter as already having problems with the crap ones Renault fit.

Hello, I see you've had a problem with the wipers, I am currently experiencing the same issue with my captur (16) and wonder if you managed to sort it or have a product reference number for the correct blades please, thank you.

In need of replacement wiper blades, current ones smear all over.

I wanted to ask peoples opinions of a decent set of blades, any links to a good set that folks have used and would recommend would be appreciated. Bosch ones have not been the best for me lately and have not lasted nearly as long as I think they should.

I've tried various other places for a set of blades for my 16 plate Captur but none would fit. I was told from a Renault Store Manager that the only blades that would fit was ones bought from a Renault Dealer.

I've had same problem with my 16 plate Renault. Tried various motor factors but none of the blades would fit. I was told by a Renault Store Manager that the only blades that will fir are ones bought from a Renault Dealer Genuine Renault Replacement Parts.

This is incorrect as I found out from this site. You can buy from ebay bosch wipers code A216S they do fit, I have a 16 plate Captur also and they work brilliantly. Only thing I will say is the fitting does look different but with a little perseverance they clip from underneath not slide up and under that is the only difference when fitting. I hope this helps you.

Cheers for that Starduster16. Yes so I've heard from a few members. I ended up getting them from the Renault Dealers. As I said the Sore Manager told me the only blades that will fit were genuine Renault blades. I had tried Halfords and their sales person even tried to fit their blades for me but they were totally different to the blades on my car. Also tried couple of motor factors but same thing there. Will keep your code number for future reference.Thanks again.

Sorry to everyone that read my report on Captur wiper blades that you had to buy genuine Renault Blade as thats what I had been told from a Renault Store Manager after I had tried other blades that would not fit. I have had a few replies to say that Bosch blades will fit. So sorry for wrong report.

I just bought a set from Autodoc for Captur. Perfect fit once I had them the right way round, but may need to wait a while for some rain to see how they work. I bought Valeo (big mistake I know I should have read this thread earlier) but they do have all the others available with small variations in sizes.

Cheers for that twodogs. I've had a few replies to tell me this. Seems I've been given wrong info from Store Manager at Renault garage. What I would add was that like some of the others I bought blades in Halfords and tried but failed to fit them so I paid Halfords to have these blades fitted and the man could not fit them either. He rechecked their part numbers and said they should be the correct blades.So don't know how some can fit them and others can't.
