Hi there
Need to have a look at my windscreen washer system. NOt working front or back. I have cleared the front jets and there was a trickle of water coming from pipes but not much . So not blocked jets. Problem is somewere further down. I want to check the pump. Obviously te fluid reservoir is full up. If I take te wheel off, there is also a panel behind the wheel arch presumably needs removing to get at pump? I can hear a whirring noise when I pull the switch for the washer forward so I am guessing there is power getting to pump. Haven't checked the fuse due to this but will check it anyway. Just really want to know if it is straightforward to access the components and which is the best way? It seems odd that neither my front or back washers are working because it seems unlikely that both front and back pump would have gone at same time. I have checked under car whilst operating and tehre is no puddle so don't think a fluid pipe has split or got disconnected. I am therefore wondering if it is maybe a blocked pipe somewhere or an airlock. Any advice would be appreciated.
